To disseminate and implement the resolutions of the 4th Plenum of the Party Central Committee, 11th Tenure, on 17 May, 2012 in Ho Chi Minh city, the Communist Review together with the Central Organization Commission and Ho Chi Minh city’s Party Committee organized a seminar on solutions to effectively implement the resolutions of the 4th Plenum of the Party Central Committee, 11th Tenure titled “Some urgent issues on Party building at present”.

Participants to the seminar maintained that the Party Central Committee’s resolutions came at a high time and met the aspiration of the Party cadres, members and people. Interventions focused on the important tasks to build the Party: to resolutely fight against, prevent and repulse degradation of political ideology, ethics and lifestyle of a number of Party cadres and members, first and foremost leaders and managers at all levels to enhance Party’s leadership and fighting strength, consolidate confidence of Party members and people in the Party, to forge a contingent of leaders and managers at all levels, particularly at central level who meet requirements of industrialization, modernization and international integration, define clearly authority and responsibility of heads of Party committees and administration in their relations with the party committees, organizations, agencies and continue to renovate methods of Party’s leadership.

There were four groups of solutions were presented. First were self-criticism and criticism, and the vanguard role of the superior levels. Second was to build a contingent of cadres who meet demands of renovation. Third was solutions on policies including complete set of solutions, policies, mechanism, and resolutions which need revision, supplement, update, evaluation, plan, rotation, training, vote of credibility, replacement, assignment… Forth was constant education on politics and ideology to Party cadres and members.

With high political will of the Party and support of the people, we are certain to overcome difficulties, successfully implement the 4^th Party Central Committee, build our Party strong and clean to be worthy of is glorious tradition and the confidence of the people./.
