In the revolutionary cause of Viet Nam, the decisive factor to the successful construction of the socialist Viet Nam with prosperous people, strong, equitable, democratic and civilized country is the close relation between the Party and social-political organizations. To strengthen the relation, the Secretaries of Party Committees and leaders of social-political organizations play an extremely important role.

The relation between the Party and the Fatherland Front is very special. The Party leads the Front through Party caucuses which respect the Front’s voluntary and democratic consultative principles. Thus, the relation between leaders of these organizations is “comradeship and alliance.” It is necessary for mass organizations to be autonomous as stipulated by their charters, enhance their monitoring role, maintain close relation with the Party, State and people of all strata and uphold the role of their leaders to strengthen the close ties.

The author recommended some concrete solutions to improve effective relation between leaders of Party Committees and social-political organizations:

1. Annual joint programmes of action must be developed by leaders of the organizations.

2. Both sides agree on guidance, reporting and monitoring and supervision mechanism monthly and quarterly.

3. Leaders of Party Committees should visit and work with organizations to understand people’s concerns and aspirations./.
